Thanks everyone for your emails and calls about our baby news. It's been great.
Today, Grandma & Grandpa came to visit James & Lauren in the hospital. The girls also came by and had a good time. I put some new pictures on our gallery.
I took the girls to see "Dr Doolittle" today. It was very cute.
Happy news. This morning at 8am our little baby was born.
Please welcome James Patrick Sabet. He is very fair and looks like Sophia & Ellie at birth. His hair is strawberry blond right now. Birth weight was 7lbs 5oz and 19.5 long. For my geeky friends, his apgar was 8 at 1 minute and 9 at 5 minutes :-)
Sophia and Ellie came to the hospital today to visit their new little brother. They are all smiles and so excited. Nana is here as well and helping us out big time.
I have a few new pictures of our little one on our photo gallery.
Lauren ended up needing a c-section but both James and Lauren are doing well and should be in the hospital for a few days.
It was really cold today so I took the girls skating. Sophia is really getting good & fast. Ellie is having fun and her heart is in the right place and she looks so cute on roller blades. Few new pictures on our gallery.
On Friday night we went out for sushi just like every other Friday night. Halfway through dinner I suddenly realized that this will be the last time we will be there as a "party of 4". Pretty strange feeling actually.
On Saturday night Lauren and I went out for our anniversary. Fernanda, our babysitter, came over with her two new tiny puppies. When we came home Sophia and Ellie were still awake playing with the little pups. They were in heaven.
The rest of the weekend we basically organized everything - getting ready for the baby. We put finishing touches on the baby room and I put the new car seats in both of our cars. Here we go.
Tomorrow Lauren and I will be married for 11 years.
Happy Anniversary, Sweetheart. I love you.
We rarely take the kids to the movie theater but today they were chomping at the bit and itching to see Curious George.
Sophia and Ellie loved it. They loved the movie and they loved the popcorn. I didn't like the movie much but I did enjoy watching the girls laugh at different parts of the movie.
I pretty much agree with this review.
Last month Sophia and her buddies performed a song at their Friday school mtg. I thought she was pretty brave and it was really great.
This past Friday, Sophia and her friends performed again. This time it was a dance number and the girls designed the choreography all by themselves (if you couldn't tell).
Sophia is the one in a pony tail and red tights. Enjoy.

It's really helpful.
I don't know why it took me so long to make a donation to the One Campaign.
But I did tonight and it's the right thing to do.
This was in the LA Times last week.
I smiled but it was mostly sad.
