Our family is going to Disney World in Feb. First time. We just booked & confirmed the hotel & airfare last night.
Thanks to Lauren we have a plan/schedule mapping out the days we are going to the Magic Kingdom, MGM and SeaWorld.
But we need dinner recommendations. Any suggestions/advice would be great!
ps: my kids don't know about this trip so please don't tell them.
I'd definitely recommend that you get a VIP tour guide for a day. An unbelievable way to see Disney -- unlimited Fass Passes, front of line access, front-row seats to every show/parade. I was able to get two days worth of rides into one with a guide.

My wife and I have been to Disney 5 times in the past 3 years and she has done extensive research on everything and anything you can think of Disney related. She says that if you e-mail me the wifes e-mail or your e-mail address she will open up the lines of communications on the subject. I like talking like that LoL. We are up here in NH planning yet another trip so drop us a line.

you definitely do want a VIP tour guide (and dont skimp on the hours, go to wall to wall)
along with the VIP tour guide you want to also rent a disney van -- $135/day last time I went -- because with the van, the tour guide picks you up at your hotel (you *are* staying inside the park, i hope -- if not, change and do so its worth it) and drives you directly into/between the fun zones (magic kingdom, epcot etc) and via service roads and entrances, so you avoid the at times wicked long lines and waits at the monorail and fun zone main entrances
as for dining, for family fun, the luau (spelling?) at the polynesian hotel is awesome fun. likewise, the character breakfasts (where the kids get to get close up and personal with mickey and pluto and buzz lightyear and the rest) at any in-park hotel are decent food and awesome fun

How many people can you drag along with you on that VIP tour at $150 per hour? I'm thinking it makes sense if you hook up with a couple of friends and their families... but for just your average family of four... that's steep!
This should be billed as "reserved for the rich & famous...or your make-a-wish kids."
Crazy package...but once you go vip...you can never go back.

Can't say anything bad about Disney World. I was just there 2 days before, and what I experienced I would forever treasure with me.

My Fiance and I are planning our honeymoon and have decided to stay at http://www.swandolphin.com This is by far the most amazing Disney World resort yet. There 17 restaurants on the resort along with access to transportation to all of the parks every 15 minutes. I think this is going to be the best place for our honeymoon because it looks so romantic and elegant.
