Last year I posted the Free Hugs video to my blog. I thought it was great.
Shortly afterwards, I sent Howard an email suggesting a Wallstrip version of Free Hugs. I think my dopey idea at the time was something like VCs and entrepreneurs hugging each other. I don't exactly remember.
Howard, Adam and Lindsay had a much better idea. Here is Free Hugs Wallstrip style.
I think the bigger point is viral and wide area collaboration which is what makes Wallstrip and Next new such great vehicles for content delivery using the web 2.0 tools

I must have missed your earlier post -- I love Free Hugs. I totally randomly came across it in San Francisco a few months ago.. I was just sitting in Union Square using their free municipal WiFi and these people set up some posters and started hugging and kissing everyone. It was such a spontaneously warm feeling.
The best part was that the mayor and his wife happened to walk through the square about 20 minutes later and he did indeed succumb to a free hug.
